Good game, but make an option wear you can not build on picture cards and have it show the final point totals as the game is played to 25, and by having two points for ten of diamonds, 1 pt. for each ace, the 2 of spades, 3 pts for cards, 1 pt for spades (7) ect. so just make those corrections and Ill give it a 5 star. But its the only Cassino game in the app store! and took me for ever to find!

Buyers beware! This is not the standard Cassino game. This is a variant known as Royal Cassino. Jacks, Queens and Kings have values of 11, 12 and 13. Aces are 1 or 14 (players choice). All play as do the other numerical cards. For example, a Kjng (13) may capture any other cards that add to 13, including face cards, plus all other Kings on the table. The developer does not make this clear in the description. I hope this comment does. As for the app itself, the design is a bit clumsy, but if you like this variant the play is acceptable.

I have been looking for this game in an app for years now. Im glad its here! Im not use to this version of the game but it will do for now. The basics are there its the scoring that is new for me. I am enjoying it so far.

Please, please, pleeeeease add an option to play the regular Cassino version as well!!! Would give it 5 stars if Royal Cassino wasnt the only means of gameplay. Thanks for making this great card game available in some form, though.

Awesome app but! Needs to have a regular version seriously

I am the sellers neace and my granfather loves to play this game. When we took him to Costa Rica he loved playing it.

I like the game but I wish there was a way to play the regular version where the 2 of spades equals 2 points and the 10 of diamonds equals 3 points and all the Aces equal 1 point a piece and having 7 spades equals 1 point and having the most points equals 1 point totaling 11 points. You want to get 11 points and sometimes it takes 2 rounds. Also the J, Q and K dont have no value. You can just capture a J with a J, a Q with a Q and a K with a K. You can only build on the J, Q and K if you have all 4. For example if there was a J on the board and you had 2 Js in your hand you could only capture one and you would have to put the other on down. If there was a J on the board and you had the other 3 Js in your hand you could build on the J thats on the board because you would have all 4 by the end of the build. If you didnt do it that way you would have and odd J, Q or K around and you dont want that. I know it seems like a lot but this is a fun way to play it. You build the same way like 7 and 3 equals 10 and an Ace and 2 equals 3 and so on. Please add an update for this version of the game. Thanks. Also I am glad I found this version because I have been looking for a game like this since I got my first iPhone. Please, Please, Please dev add this version. Thanks..... Again!!

But I would love the original variant described in the previous comment (11 pts/hand, 21 to win, face cards only get face cards, points for aces, most cards, etc.). But the Royal Cassino version is fun, too. Worth picking up by itself but a standard version (or option in this app) would be great.

Cassino is much more fun with rules as described below. Special card values make the game more interesting. Good game though. I have been waiting for a cassino for a while.

Thanks to the developer for adding the traditional game plus another variant which makes a good game even better....5 stars now.

Great little product. As promised, this new version now incorporates the 21 point score system. The interface is simple and clean for a game with so much flexibility and the AI computer player makes some very decent moves.

I cant thank the dev enough for this! Cassino is my favorite card game, and now I can play anywhere, any time! Even better since my friends dont like to play the card game.

My first app and I cant even install it. I keep getting an error. " The app "Cassino" was not installed on the iphone because its resources have been modified. I tried over and over and it wont sync with my iphone." I dislike to give it one star cause the reviews are so good, but I have tried to install it and it wont let me. +++Revisited*** The file I downloaded was corrupted. I deleted it at the suggestion of the creator of the app and re downloaded, now it works just fine. Lovely game. I will leave the first review intact so perhaps other may benefit from the problem I had.

Great game, thanks for building the app. One huge frustration: The computer can build upon a build. (e.g. Player 1 builds 6, then Player 2 places a 2 on the build and builds 8s) The user can NOT build upon a build. This really screws up the game. I know its not intentional. Just fix it for the update OK? One small suggestion: it would be nice to give the user the option to deal first, pr automatically alternate. Its not quite balanced when the computer deals first every game.

AI is terrible

Cassino is a fantastic card game and this app was a great find, but the computer A.I. is far too difficult to play against. I play Cassino almost every day with my boss, with real cards and I can say that Im not too bad of a player, but out of the 40 or 50 games Ive played with the app Ive only won about four, something is not right here. And also having the computer be able to add on to builds and not myself is extremely frustrating. Fix these problems and the game would have been 5-Star.

Terribly simplistic A.I. Engine that will drive you bonkers. Imagine practicing with a computer that always has the perfect hand and where odds or the concept of a shuffled deck dont exist. This game absolutely no replay value.

The last 4 games or maybe even more, have started with the exact same 4 cards on the board 2 sets that add to 7 AND I have happily had the 7 in each case but it makes me suspicious of the variety of games available. The problem mentioned by others about the inability to build on your own build either has been fixed or doesnt happen if youre playing the 3rd variant...21 point scoring and face cards and Aces being able to pick up combos of 11, 12, 13, & 14.

Looks to be a fun game !!! Although, using the suggestions tab, Im still stumped .Where can I find a tutorial, with more descriptive instructions . Thnx !!!

Why have I been starting with 2s, 3s, 5d and 7h now for the last 5 games? The flop is the same too!!! Computer has same cards as well. Whats up. Are you out of game variations? I have the screen shots to prove it.
